Thursday Thursday.

So, I might as well jump right in. It's already Thursday! Wow. Matt and I had such a great time with Roxanne and Jake last weekend. They were our first official guests to come in town since we've been married! My parents graciously let us stay out at their place while they were out of town, seeing as how a 1 bedroom apartment doesn't seem to fit 2 couples in there very comfortably. Thanks for coming to TN to vacation you guys! We loved you all being here and I must say, we have some great memories to reminisce on. Nothing like a little backseat choreographed dance/sing party, right Rox?!...Or a little songwriting for Matt's rapporteur -- "Thicker than a Snicker, thinner than a Thin-mint"...Or a little meet and greet with Kix Brooks from Brooks & Dunn -- Priceless! :)

In other news, Summer is here! It actually felt like it started weeks ago though. I'm ready for those nice warm Saturday boat days.

So, not to end the blog abruptly, but I want you to soak in this scripture that Matt shared with me yesterday. It's a blessing from our Creator. May I Fear the Lord!

Psalm 128
"Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in his ways! You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be blessed, and it shall be well with you. Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house; your children will be like olive shoots* around your table. Behold, thus shall the man be blessed who fears the Lord. The Lord bless you from Zion! May you see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life! May you see your children's children! Peace be upon Israel!"

*An Olive Tree is said to be a very valuable tree in the lands of the Bible. An Olive Shoot could symbolize the children being valuable and producing much fruit in the land.
